These Terms of Use are entered into by and between You and Adoption & Beyond, Inc. (“Company”, “we”, or “us”) regarding your participation in and use of the Navigating Hospital Adoption Best Practices Course (the “Course”).

These Terms of Use, along with any documents they incorporate by reference (collectively, the “Agreement”), govern your access to and use of the online course materials, content, functionality, and any related services made available through adoption-beyond.org or its affiliated platforms.

By accessing or using the Course, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Course.


1.0 COURSE/SERVICE

Adoption & Beyond, Inc. agrees to provide access to the Navigating Hospital Adoption Best Practices Course (herein referred to as “Course”). This is an educational and training program for healthcare professionals and staff who work with expectant mothers or newborns and who may encounter adoption situations.

As part of the Course, the Company will provide:

A Password-Protected Course Area:
You will receive Lifetime Access to the Course materials, which include pre-recorded video modules, support documents, and any additional training resources. If the Company plans to close the Course before this period ends, a 30-day notice will be provided, including the opportunity to download relevant resources.

Bonuses (If Offered):
Any additional bonuses provided during enrollment are offered on a time-sensitive basis and are not guaranteed beyond the promotion period. Bonuses involving vouchers or any other form of ‘bonus’ are valid for one year from issuance and are non-transferable.


2.0 DISCLAIMER
The Navigating Hospital Adoption Best Practices Course is provided solely for educational and informational purposes and is intended for licensed professionals and staff working in healthcare, social services, or adoption-related roles in the USA.


It is not a substitute for legal, medical, therapeutic, or clinical advice and does not create a professional-client relationship between the participant and Adoption & Beyond, Inc.

The Company makes no guarantees or warranties related to the placement or adoption of a child as a result of taking the Course. It is designed to inform ethical and supportive practices only and is not intended to replace state regulations, legal guidance, or hospital policy.


3.0 PAYMENT
This Course is offered at no cost to eligible participants. There are no fees, payment plans, or charges required for enrollment or access.


5.0 REFUND POLICY
Since the Course is provided free of charge, there are no purchases to refund. If you experience any technical issues or have questions, please contact our support team at: [email protected].


6.0 CONFIDENTIALITY
You agree to respect the privacy of other participants and not to disclose or distribute any comments, case examples, or protected material discussed during or after the Course.

All course content—including slide decks, videos, guides, and worksheets—is for individual educational use only and may not be copied, shared, or distributed without express written permission from the Company.


7.0 GUEST CONTENT
Any contributions or appearances by guest speakers, panelists, or third-party professionals are provided for informational purposes. While the Company seeks to include reputable sources, it does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any guest content and assumes no liability for the views expressed by third parties.


8.0 NO TRANSFER OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content provided in the Course remains the intellectual property of Adoption & Beyond, Inc.

Participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the materials for individual learning and professional development only.

You agree not to copy, share, republish, or alter the materials, nor to use them to create derivative or competing educational content.


Because this Course is offered for free and not for resale, legal penalties including liquidated damages do not apply, but access will be revoked for any misuse.


9.0 INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR STATUS
Participation in the Course does not constitute a business, employment, or contractor relationship between you and the Company.


10.0 FORCE MAJEURE
Adoption & Beyond, Inc. is not responsible for interruptions or delays in access caused by factors beyond its control (e.g., internet outages, illness, platform issues, or natural disasters).


11.0 SEVERABILITY/WAIVER
If any part of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in effect. The Company’s failure to enforce any provision shall not be deemed a waiver of that provision.


12.0 MISCELLANEOUS
Your participation in this Course is voluntary and undertaken at your own discretion. The Company is not responsible for any decisions, actions, or outcomes that arise from your interpretation or application of the materials.


13.0 ASSIGNMENT
Your access to the Course is for you alone and may not be transferred or shared without written consent from the Company.


14.0 MODIFICATION
The Company reserves the right to update these Terms. The most current version will be posted and effective immediately upon publication.


15.0 TERMINATION
The Company may revoke access to the Course if you violate these Terms, share materials without permission, or engage in behavior that disrupts the learning environment. Since this is a free course, no refunds or credits apply.


16.0 INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from any claims or legal issues that arise due to misuse of the Course content or violation of these Terms.


17.0 RESOLUTION OF DISPUTES
All disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration held in Overland Park, Kansas. Class arbitration is not permitted.


18.0 INTERNATIONAL USERS
This course is intended solely for the use within the USA. Access and participation from outside the USA is not permitted.


19.0 ADOPTION DISCLAIMER
This Course does not guarantee or promise any specific adoption outcome. It is provided as a professional training resource on best practices in hospital adoption support.

Examples, scenarios, or case studies shared within the Course are hypothetical or anonymized and are intended to illustrate ethical frameworks and guidance—not real-life guarantees or outcomes.
